I'm officially 21 years old! Early in the morning 7am, my dear sister woke me up to give me the presents. I thought she will be baking some interesting cake... And YES, its very interesting, a cake that will never rot, i've named the cake " Forever 21" hahaha.. See the pic

haha, very cute right.. I appreciate her hard work.. No wonder for few days she return home so late and dont dare to tell me where she go. hahaha.. she was doing this when she had appointment in hospital, startbucks and some other place. haha.. And a very pretty necklace that mei sien chose..

Mum and dad gave me ang bao and blessings =]

I had to leave early from church to open my puscart. Thank zongwen and qibing for the card and present =]

Sinyi suprised me with a cute little mango cake. Very cute size. lol! Thanks girl.

I enjoy my day there because the vendors around us were friendly and fun chatting with them. Woo ren came to buy present for his friend, and he also bought me a tiramisu cake! ahhh, really very paiseh to let him spend money.. Thanks.. And i'm really sorry to make you walk back to makan the cake. =X Sorry, hope you dont mind.. i a bit blur sotong de... =X

Chris also bought me cake when he reached. He bought me a cheese cake. haha.. I ate 3 cakes yesterday. Shared it with the vendors hehe.. must share the joy around. Everyone was happy. haha.. Thank you thank you.. =]

We close early because sinyi had to go for vegeterian dinner and i had to meet up with aunt and family for pizza! =] The whole day was raining Cows and buffalo haha... caught in the rain a few times, Thank God i didn't catch a cold on my 21st birthday. hehe..

Ahh.... My dearest marion was so cute!!! she's 3+yr old and she was carrying a bouquet of lilies which was almost her height. haha.. She gave me my birthday hug and kiss. haha... She was wearing Levis hipster and a top, haha, nice butt. haha.. Super cute kid.

After dinner, my aunt refuse to send me home, because in the past i always deliver flowers to customers by train or cab. None of it was a bouquet for myself, so my sweet aunty wants me to carry my 21st bouquet to take a train. haha ( i think she knows i will feel paiseh when everyone is looking).. And she succeeded, haha... many was looking and asked when i walking in AMK central.. Took a train home, and we met a malay ser lang! ARgh... he got scolded and beat by my sister. haha! You go girl! i started to hit him on his back and scolded, then my sister's anger erupts and started her machine gun. haha! woohoo..

My frindge looks weird because we walked in the rain. haha..

21 stalks of flowers. hehe.. I love the smell..

i just thought of something when i'm blogging this... I forgot to take picture with sinyi, and the vendors...! Zzzz... And.... I didn't sing birthday song and blow candles. lol.... I thought it would be too awdward to sing there.. Hmm.. no candles to blow means no wishes.. =X

its okei, i had my 3 min long birthday song at partyworld the other day. haha..

its okei to have no birthday wishes because God listens to my wishes and prayers. hehe.. =]

Lastly, i want to Thank God for giving me surprises through kind friends and people around me. Even though i had to work on my 21st birthday, i was happy to share the joy with friends and even strangers that i met 1 day before. Its a blessing!=] And you've protected my day and gave rain of blessing. Thanks. =]

Yesterday siew ting, jolene and shu yun gave me a suprise visit at my place because we cancelled the dinner plan.... Really happy to see them coming over after work.. We had a chat which i think was good because everyone was busy with work, and seldom do we have a chance to just chat about future and present. =]

I was happy to chat with them than going to dinner... Enjoyed talking and knowing what my friends are going through at work and their future plans.

Today at pushcart i receive one pair of earrings from a stall aunty. She is so sweet, knowing its my birthday, she took something from her stall and wrap it up for me. Thanks! =]

I met up with my RP girls, alicia, liyi and weiling! Met up with alicia first at orchard to do some shopping... Then Weiling and liyi joined us later at pasta waraku.. =]

The moment we stepped in, alicia got very angry with the manager because of this bad attitude. At first sight i thought he is California fittness consultant. haha.. looks similar.

Anyway... If you want to know the whole story can read alicia blog. haha.. the best thing alicia said that i like was " do you think there will be 6 happy ghost coming in to have dinner at this hour?! " hahaha.. i was laughing so badly inside. hehehe...

I appreciate that you girls took out time after work/school to accompany me. <3

Today is a happy day. =]

My mum brought me to buy jewelry for my 21st birthday. hehe.. Eh... because it was not a good time to buy gold... and i dont wear gold... so i choose white gold and diamond. hehehhe...

I saw white gold ring which look beautiful... but i scare i might regret after buying, because i haven't get to see the diamonds section! =X My mum wanted to get me a necklace, but honestly i dont wear it, so i rather my mum spend the money on something that i will wear. right? =]

hmm.. A star diamond ring caught my eye, its a little pretty thing =] Couldn't decide on which to get... mum thought since i'm not getting necklace, so.... i can buy both rings. =] yippy!

The jewelry uncle was not very happy because i didn't buy the necklace that cost 500++ bucks. hehe.. i chose 2 rings that cost 300 bucks after 35% discount. hehe.. Sorry uncle, i really dont like the necklace.. diamond ring has more charm =X

Tomorrow i will be meeting my girls for dinner at pasta waraku at novena. hmm... I quite like the food there especially codrole pasta. The taste of seafood and tender spaghetti..... *drool* okok, tomorrow i'm so going there to eat... =]

Friday meeting my secondary girls for dinner at... waraku at starhub center..hehe.. this time is not pasta waraku its just japanese food without western fusion. =]

Last weekend was pushcart day again! things were good except that we met a crazy woman... Long story.... anyway... we met many secondary 3 students from west wood secondary school. they had a event there, and they are selling interesting consignment items.. Made friends with them...

Yesterday we took a cab back because my friend last min had something to attend to.... I think that the world is really small! The cab driver was chatting with us and i love the CD he's playing, the songs are old songs (hmm, many say i'm born in the wrong era), like stevie wonders etc. When we were reaching my house, he asked if my dad lived in sembawang area and if he has a lot of tattoos. I was kinda o_O when he asked. He asked what's my dad's name, and it happen to be my dad's buddy when they were young!..... He said he could see my dad's face when he sees me. haha!.. Ya.. many say i look alot like my dad.. But i didn't know i look THAT much like him.. lol... Well, they had a chat and i can see they were very happy to see each other after so so so many years. haha..

Small world..... small singapore. hehehe...

Oh, and i had a wonderful time with my cellgroup at partyworld! they are so cute, they sang happy birthday song for me.. Longest birthday song ever.. haha.. Thanks for coming people! =] Enjoyed myself =]

My family accompany me to have dim sum buffet at rivercity restruant. hmm.. I think the ha gou very fresh. The prawn inside was big, juicy and fresh. Good! My parents are small eaters so they was full after a while. lol... total bill was 67bucks for 4 adults dim sum buffet.. Not bad not bad.. Its worth it and i think i may go back again with my friends. =]

This couple of weeks, i'm reading a book written by Max Lucado, title: What God did to win your heart? He choose the Nails.

I would like to share the last chapter if friends who are reading my blog. Sorry, it will be kinda wordy. Bear with it. ^^

Hmm.. beside purpose driven life and breaking bondage, this is considered the third spiritual book that i've finish reading. I should say that its very encouraging after reading the books. Sentences in the book change people.

Today i finished the last chapter.
It started by describing the day when Jesus was being crucified on the cross. Jesus spoke a final time when afternoon dawn broke. " It is finished, Father,into your hands I commit my spirit."

The author wrote... With scarred hands He offered forgiveness. Through torn skin He promised acceptance. He took the path to take us home. He wore our garment to give us His own. We have seen the gifts He brought. And... what will we bring to the hill? We are asked to walk the path and leave something at the cross.

Leave your Bad moments, Mad moments, Anxious moments and Final moments at the cross.

There's a sentence that make me think quite a bit.
He promise:"This is my commitment to my people:removal of their sins" (Rom, 11:27)
It meant that God don't just forgive our sins, He totally removed them. We simply have to take them to Him. Not only the mistakes that we've made, but also mistakes we are making.

Another verse i like. "Love does not keep a record of wrongs" (1 Cor :13:5). He wants us to leave the list at the cross. Its not easy.

Paul said this:" If someone does wrong to you, forgive that person because the Lord forgave you"(Col 3:13)

The author also mention how to handle when we have anxieties over health or finances or house(anything that is making you worry). We must take a mental trip up the hill. Spend a few moments looking again at the pieces of passion.

Blood He bled for you.
The spear He took for you.
The nails He felt for you.
The sign He left for you.

Knowing all this that He has done for us, Don't you think He'll look out for us here?

This paragraph also make me think.. It made sense to me because after so much things that He had done for me. He will definitly look out for me here ,now. I should take my worries to Him. He will take them all.

I've finish this book. And i will continue to find more good books to read.

Saturday was a busy busy busy day! Sis n i went to help my aunt out at sentosa. We got to decorate different scenes at the resort/hotel for wedding photo shoot. The first thing i have to say is that the boss is much younger than i expected and he's very friendly. The second thing is.. the resort is super nice place to have ROM or have a party.

Below is pictures of most of the flowers my sis n aunt did before hand. Very nice! =] Huppibloom's credit.

After preparing at the ball room, the couple was super late! no time management, then no manners... They didn't apologise or say hi to us when they arrived. i should say they look like young ah beng and ah lian.... the thing i could not stand was when there are break time, the couple would find a corner and start to smoke like addicts....

Anyway..... I think the resort/hotel looks fantastic. especially their villas.. very posh and you will feel like you're overseas. Cool.!

The waterfall water and pool is actually from spring water. no chlorine!

this is a place just beside the spring water pool.

The square thingy u see there is one of the villa. Dont get cheated by its design ... Its super nice inside! They have massage pool inside, living room, dining room, very comfortable bedrooms and toilets. The very interesting thing about their villas is they have trees growing in the middle of the villa! they have glass frames around the tree(like aquarium), so when it rains, you can actually see it in the living room. they don't remove the trees to build the place.

hmm.. i think thats all. haha.. We had a long and tiring day decorating and removing it after photo shoots.... We had fun! In future, we probably will go there often to help out. hehe.. cool! next time must bring swimsuit. can swim after work.. lol!
